Hi all
Am newbie to this forum so please forgive me if I am in the wrong area, but I
thought some of you mac users may find this item useful.

When I got my new macbook pro I updated Tiger right up to date and then went
on to install CS it totally fagbangled my machine and locked it solid.

Reason:

CS wont instal on that version
Fix:

Dont update the system install CS first then update and all will be fine.
This should save you some time and hassle. The crash when I did it was so bad
I had to return the first macbook back to apple! Am now happer camper tho.
all the best
Tom.

This forum is for the Macromedia products. Your post is probably more
suited for the Adobe forums.

The Adobe Forums site is down at the moment. But the fix is to update Quicktime from 7.1 to 7.1.1. The update should be available from Apple as of today (May 31).
